We offer an open space for people of all levels to build their bike under the guidance of an experienced and friendly mechanic.

Whether you’re interested in a guided brainstorm session to help your research phase, or some intensive time in the workshop getting greasy, we are happy to help.

These sessions are led by bicycle expert, Founding Mechanic Diego Padilla and are priced reasonably at £35 an hour. Members receive 10% off and it’s free to join.

She installed a Pinhead lock system on her wheels, stem and seat post. Now when she pulls up, all she needs to lock is her frame!

She sourced a Knog bell from Australia! But it rang too quietly and she later upgraded to one of our beautiful copper Crane bells.

She fitted SPD pedals, allowing her to ride clipped in (for the first time!) as well as unclipped on the flat, reverse side of the pedal. Easy!

Our favourite modification, super fast rolling, high grip Schwalbe tyres for off-roading! These guys changed her ride dramatically. Now she loves nipping onto grass, going over cobbles and gravel.
